This knotted headband is mainly worn in the front where the knot sits near the front of the head, where the forehead and hairline meet, with the headband sitting slightly over or at the tops of the ears. But you are more than welcome to wear the headband however you want. Some people like to wear the knot in the back and have more of a flatter and smooth headband in the front.
